Vaginal Pressure

I'm sure this has been covered many times but I wanted to receive some other advice.  I'm currently 7 weeks with my first pregnancy and am experiencing vaginal pressure.  The only way I can explain it is that the pressure is similar to when I have a heavy menstrual flow.  I called my midwife and she said that as long as there's no bleeding (which there isn't) then it's probably just the uterus growing?

I've had the normal and occasional cramps but none today.  Just abdominal and especially vaginal pressure.  Anyone else currently experience this or has in the past?

I'm 13w1d, and I had (and still sometimes notice) little twinges. They aren't really like cramps as much as I can just sense there's something going on in my lower abdomen. But it's just my uterus growing and making more room for baby.

If your midwife doesn't think you should be concerned, I say sit back and relax! (Unless you really feel that something's wrong! Best not to ignore intuition).

It feels like pressure on my cervix. I'm concerned but not worried. If I notice any bleeding then I'll make sure to get checked out asap. But I doubt that'll happen if everything is normal. I didn't even have implantation bleeding!

ooooooooh yea. it felt like someone had kicked me in the vag sometimes. it was terrible! it felt like really weird cramps too but they went away on their own. i have them from time to time now, but not as bad as they were in teh begining.

I remember having that during pregnancy. Cramps are from the uterus growing. Maybe the pressure is increased blood flow or the very beginnings of a mucus plug? I also remember having sharp pains on my cervix. It only happened a couple of times and went away before the 1st tri ended.

I had a very similar feeling during early pregnancy, it was almost like my uterus was pressing down and I was having to drag it along with me. It resolved around 12 weeks I think. I'm not sure of the exact time scale of pregnancy, but I'm fairly certain that when your uterus rises out of your pelvis you'll probably feel a lot more comfortable.

I'm having the same issues! I'm 5 weeks and I have mild cramps and the pressure on my cervix. I keep trying to tell myself that my uterus is growing but how much room does something need that is the size of an orange seed?
