Baby's percentile at birth?
My doctor just called to tell me that my baby is currently at the 92nd percentile, and we are 31 weeks pregnant. She said that at this point there's no reason to change my birth plan, which is to have a natural birth in hospital.
I just curious if any of you ladies know what percentile your kiddo was in at birth, and if that had any affect on your delivery plans?
I'm also a gestational diabetic, and my numbers don't always stay in range. My fasting count tends to be around 100 when they want it at 90-95, and the rest of my numbers usually fall in range, but sometimes either dip into the 50s/60s, or go above range by 1-10 points... This is with insulin and watching my diet, too.
This is our third child, and we tend to make bigger babies by default. Our son was four weeks early (I had severe pre-eclampsia) and he was 8 lbs 9oz, and our daughter was a successful VBAC with no meds, and she weighted 9 lbs.
Thanks for any words you can offer. I hope you're all doing well! :)
